Leading up to his octagon return at UFC 246, Conor McGregor revealed that he was very close to sign a boxing fight with Manny Pacquiao.
Well, this would not have been the first time for Conor to jump over to the boxing world and fight one of itsgreats. He had a showdown with Floyd Mayweather that opened up the path for cross-promotion and super fights between two different worlds of sport. But for an undisclosed reason, McGregor vs Pacquiao could not come to fruition.
But that fight might be even easier to make now. Manny Pacquiao has joined Conor’s management firm, Paradigm Sports Management on Tuesday. Paradigm SM will assist Manny Pacquiao both in his commercial and competitive endeavors.
Pacquiao’s existing team consists of business manager Arnold Vegafria, associate Ping Nepomuceno and attorney Brando Viernesto. And Paradigm Sports Management will join them for Manny’s future endeavors.
Talking about this decision, Manny said:
“I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that Audie Attar and PSM have to offer. One thing I want everyone to remember is to always think positively. Never think negatively; that is the beginning of your downfall. Everything is possible.”
Well, the former two-division champion, Conor McGregor also sends warm greetings to Manny. Conor tweeted:
Welcome to the team Emmanuel. https://t.co/VnFsahczo5

Conor’s longtime manager, Auddie A. Attar issued a statement on Manny joining the team:
Incredibly proud to announce that @ParadigmSM is officially representing Manny Pacquiao. I’d like to thank everyone involved in this, including our partners Arnold, Ping, Atty Brando, Jayke and the rest of Team Pacquiao back in Manila. Cannot wait to work together.
Recently Auddie A. Attar claimed that Conor is very serious about becoming a champion in boxing. Conor has also shown seriousness in going to the boxing world again and getting a title. And there are few boxers who have called out Conor into a boxing fight. Floyd Mayweather, Paulie Malignaggi, and even Terence Crawford have shown interest in a showdown with former UFC two-division champion.
However, Does Manny’s inclusion in ParadigmSM implies that we might see a showdown between Manny and Conor?
