Jake Paul did something which few believed he could do. ‘The Problem Child’, as advertised, knocked out Tyron Woodley to win the rematch between the two. After an evenly contested and slightly lackluster first five rounds, Paul came out aggressive in the sixth round. The YouTuber turned boxer faked a punch to a body and caught ‘The Chosen One’ with a devastating right hook. The punch landed flush on Woodley’s temple, and he went crashing down. This was Paul’s fifth professional boxing win. He is now 5-0 in his career.

During the fight, Woodley accidentally caught Paul with an elbow, which busted him wide open. After the fight, in the post-fight press conference, Paul was asked about his own performance and how he would assess it. He said, “I mean, I got the knockout, highlight-reel knockout. I was setting up that shot because I knew he was gonna try and catch the right hand coming straight, so I had to loop it around like a hook. But I was just off. I don’t know, man, I was just off a little bit. Pull a muscle again in my arm in the first round. But had to fight through a lot of tough moments.”
“Tyron’s tough man, he’s a really tough guy. He caught me with the elbow. I’m bleeding in my eye. But still got the job done. It’s mental, he just keeps on coming forward. Hitting him with good shots, good jabs, good body shots. We’re in the clinch and you could feel that national champion wrestler in the clinch. Pushing you around like a bull. His punching power is real. He won the UFC championship with that. I got a good chin.”

Jake Paul had a message for Jake Paul
‘The Problem Child‘ finished the fight with Tyron Woodley, with a knockout of the year contender. Woodley is a former UFC welterweight champion, and it is no joke knocking out a guy like that. After the win against ‘The Chosen One,’ Paul had a message for UFC President Dana White. Both men keep taking shots are each other regularly and this time it was Paul.
During the post-fight press conference, Paul said, “I just knocked out the five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company. And please let me get Kamaru Usman. Please let me get Diaz. Please let me get Masvidal, please let me get McGregor. Because I’m embarrass them too. I promise you that Dana, I promise you that.”
