“I Want to Make Ryan Garcia Bend the Knee” – Henry Cejudo Reveals Plans to Come Out of Retirement

Henry Cejudo shocked MMA fans after retiring following his fight at UFC 249. ‘Triple C’ attributed the decision to having spent years working to become the person that he is. However, just a month departed from the shocker, ‘Triple C’ revealed that he is in talks for a massive boxing match.

In a chat with TMZ, the former UFC fighter spoke about the things that he has done. However, he quickly pivoted to the things he is yet to do.

“I think I’ve done everything in MMA, Olympic champ, flyweight champ, bantamweight champ, I’ve defended both of my titles. I think the only one I want to do it is to make Ryan Garcia bend the knee.”

‘The Messenger’ competed as an amateur wrestler and later moved to pro fighting. Nevertheless, he appeared bullish about his chances in his debut professional boxing match against a 20-0 pugilist who has 17 KO wins. 

“I really don’t think he’s that good, I really don’t. I think with a proper team, the right game plan, I believe I could make him bend the knee in front of Oscar De La Hoya, I feel like I have the tools, the power, the strength, the experience, and we wanna make this happen. Potentially in Saudi Arabia so we got the money guy. We got the money guy that’s willing to pay both of us. It’s just up to ‘Randy Candy’ Garcia to sign that contract.”

Finally, ‘The Messenger’ delighted fans as he showed them that he hasn’t lost his penchant for trash talking. He unleashed a tirade on his potential opponent.

“Ryan Garcia, you absolutely make me sick man. I would make you bend the knee so quick, you have no idea. You can throw about 100 punches, but it only takes one of mine to make you bend the knee, so sign the contract, baby.”

‘The Flash’ would have the advantage as he has trained all his life to be a pro-boxer. Furthermore, he has a reach advantage. However, ‘The Messenger’ has always started from the bottom, preserved, and silenced detractors.
