If not in the ring, Lopez will appear in a public event soon, and he has hinted at it. The unified world lightweight champion has never been to a UFC event before, and he plans to change it soon.

Teofimo Lopez hints at turning towards the UFC

The world champion boxer recently went live on Instagram to interact with his fans. While he was enquired about several scenarios going around his life, one fan asked him about his next appearance.

‘The Takeover’ responded, “How about Chito’s fight? UFC? Pop my cherry? I have never been to UFC event ever before. So what’s up, Dana White. Bring me along man.”

If ‘Chito’ Vera’s fight is the key to Lopez’s appearance in the UFC, then we need a bantamweight thriller to make that happen. Marlon Vera is still fresh off his KO win over Sean O’Malley at UFC 252. Thus, he is one of the top-rated bantamweights in the promotion now.

It is great to see a world champion like Teofimo Lopez, backing up the Ecuadorian sensation.
