The VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, has been the hotbed of action around the world as the UFC spearheads the world’s quest for normalcy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Conor McGregor has been keeping a close watch at everything that has been going on in the UFC. The reasons behind the same range from ensuring that the safety procedures of the UFC are at par with his standards to looking for a fight for himself.

Either way, the UFC’s conviction and determination have left McGregor impressed. In addition to all his activities on social media, the Dubliner has taken time out to laud the promotion for its efforts.

“UFC on again tonight! Incredible! 3 shows in a week without a hitch. Only the 1 team tested positive pre-fight but was discovered before any risk of further contamination. There is light at the end of this tunnel people! For sports! For schools! For businesses! Let’s go!!” said Conor McGregor in a post on social media.

The UFC’s return was met with a series of mixed reactions from fans and MMA pundits. However, most fighters, coaching and management staff have nothing but appreciation for the promotion’s efforts.

According to UFC President Dana White, other sporting institutions have reached out to the MMA stalwarts in search of tips, as conducting events as soon as possible is on everyone’s mind.

All is bright and sunny for the UFC, for now. However, there is no telling when the tide might change and result in a catastrophe. The UFC is maintaining an environment of positivity and giving the fans something to help them through the lockdown.

However, the UFC needs to get through tonight’s event without a hitch. That will set things in motion for every other institution in the world. Following which, it is unlikely for the promotion to slow down.

The promotion faced a brief hiccup when Jacare Souza tested positive for Coronavirus ahead of his fight at UFC 249. Other than that, the UFC’s return has gone down rather smoothly.
