Tyrone Spong is not just a great fighter, but an amazing combat sports athlete in general. He is a former kickboxing world champion, with a 107-7-1-1 record. He shifted his focus from kickboxing to pro boxing in 2015 and is currently undefeated. ‘King of the Ring’ is the current WBC Latino and WBO Latino heavyweight champion in boxing. However, he hasn’t had an MMA fight since 2013.

‘Bigfoot’ is a former EliteXC heavyweight champion and has fought in the UFC as well. However, his recent form is not something he would be proud of. He has lost his last seven fights. Six in MMA and one in Bare Knuckle FC. Silva has won only one of his last 10 fights.

Rashad Evans to make his MMA return at Eagle Fighting Championship

UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans will make his return to MMA at Eagle FC 44. The former UFC light heavyweight champion retired from the sport in 2018 after a string of losses. The news was first broken by Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports. In his tweet, he said,UFC Hall of Famer @SugaRashadEvans will come out of retirement to fight on @TeamKhabib‘s first US card on Jan 28 in Miami at Eagle FC 44. Plans are for it to be a light heavyweight bout, but not opponent yet.”

Evans made his way into the UFC through ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’ He won the competition to win himself a UFC contract. ‘Suga’ dropped down to light heavyweight for his first debut fight against Sam Hoger and went undefeated for eight fights. During the run, he was able to win the UFC light heavyweight title as well. However, he dropped it in the very next fight against Lyoto Machida.

He fought some of the biggest names in the game but sadly finished his career with five consecutive losses. He will look to make a triumphant return to the sport on January 28.
