The MMA and E-Sports community collectively were excited to see a collision of the two worlds unfold. Additionally, the UFC 4 video game that saw a launch recently has helped the two spheres mingle and interact. Chiefly, Max Holloway and several other fighters have begun regularly streaming games on the Twitch Platform.
Max Holloway: A multifaceted talent
Not only is ‘Blessed‘ involved in the online gaming world, but he’s also pound-for-pound one of the best fighters on the planet. The Hawaiian native has faced some tough times as of late, but still remains a top-tier draw. He is coming off a closely contested loss in a world title fight rematch to Alexander Volkanovski.

Several fighters and fans were of the belief that Holloway did enough to beat ‘The Great’ on the scorecards. Regardless, he is now 1-3 in his last 4 fights and will be keen to put up an emphatic performance in his return. Despite his recent setback, his high volume striking mixed with his patented durability make him a dangerous opponent.

His run through the featherweight division is a thing of legends as he accrued 12 straight wins in the promotion. Additionally, he holds two victories over Jose Aldo, who many argue to be the best 145-pound fighter. Coupled with his accolades, he is a fan-favorite fighter who never shies away from getting into an all-out brawl.
The MMA community endears the durable fighter and is excited to see him put the division on notice in his return bout.
