Undisputed 185-pound king Israel Adesanya took to social media and shared his views on the highly anticipated Middleweight scrap. The Former UFC Middleweight champion Robert Whittaker was victorious in his headlining effort against Darren Till at UFC Fight Night 174. The bout went largely in favor of ‘The Reaper’ as he launched a successful comeback after the tough 1 round.

The end came via Unanimous decision as the Australian has now won 10 of his last 11 fights. Darren Till had his moments, as the fight played out largely as a stand-up clinic between the two.  Moreover, the event pulled down the curtain on Fight Island in emphatic fashion leaving fight fans yearning for more.

Israel Adesanya chimes in

The undisputed 185-pound champion was keenly observing the aforementioned match-up due to its divisional implications. ‘The Last Stylebender’ took to Twitter and spoke on the electrifying contest that took flash inside the Flash Forum.

It appeared as though Israel Adesanya had his sights set on possibly facing ‘The Gorilla’ were he to be victorious. The Englishman is a seasoned striker who offers many interesting looks, thus possibly enticing Adesanya. Chiefly, Israel Adesanya has a fight lined up against Paulo Costa who is dangerous in his own right.

The undefeated fighter from New Zealand captured his strap from Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 in the land down under. From that point on, his stardom within the sport began to take shape in more ways than one. Not to mention, he also secured a spot on the UFC 4 video game cover alongside Jorge Masvidal.

The winner of the aforementioned main event fight between Robert Whittaker and Darren Till was expected to have lucrative opportunities. MMA fans and media members largely considered the bout to be a number one contender’s bout. Additionally, there are several other top-tier fighters chomping at the bit for a shot at gold.

The Middleweight division is heating up and trends to be one of the most enticing weight classes in the UFC.  Robert Whittaker will be looking to separate himself from the pack and forge his own path back to UFC gold.
