The UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada will be the venue for this week’s Fight Night. A heavyweight clash will serve as the main event at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis. The second-ranked ‘Razor’ Blaydes will go up against #4 Derrick Lewis in what many expect to be one thriller of a fight.
Curtis Blaydes is riding on a four-fight win streak, which includes two dominating victories coming this year over Junior dos Santos and Alexander Volkov. Blaydes will be walking into his third fight of the year against an opponent who could present him with his sternest test.
Lewis himself is on a three-fight win streak. He defeated Ilir Latifi in February via a unanimous decision. His win over Aleksei Oleinik in August propelled him to the top of the list for the most knockouts in the heavyweight division’s history.
These two fighters are in the queue behind Francis Ngannou for a shot at the heavyweight title. Given the stakes, this fight will create a stir in the division and will be a great contest to watch.
UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis will take place this Saturday, November 28 at the UFC Apex. The main card will be available on SPN2 and ESPN Deportes in English and in Spanish. Simultaneously, it will also be available on ESPN+ starting at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. The preliminary card will be exclusively available on ESPN+ starting at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
