‘The Natural Born Killer’ is heading into his 45 professional fight and has been a UFC and WEC stand-out for ages. Condit snapped a 5-fight losing streak with a vintage performance over Court McGee in his last contest. Prior to his most recent win, Carlos Condit hadn’t won a fight since May 2015.
Condit has a skillset that is defensively sound, especially when facing an overly aggressive opponent. Although his chin isn’t what it once was, his last fight showed that despite the wear and tear, he’s still got shades of ‘NBK’. Moreover, he is comfortable if the fight were to head towards the ground.

Matt Brown comes into the fight off a TKO loss to Miguel Baeza from May 2020. Prior to the loss, he was building somewhat of a run with two straight wins. Brown is a pressuring force with veteran experience that is sure to make this an exciting scrap. ‘The Immortal’ is not one to disengage when the pressure is being put on him, and he’s comfortably durable.
However, leaving leg kicks unchecked could be a detrimental factor when facing a precise striker like ‘The Natural Born Killer’. Carlos Condit’s last performance will give him the confidence that he can show Matt Brown new, never-before-seen looks. Moreover, a safe pick in a pure firefight would have to go to the more economical fighter in Condit.
