UFC Heavyweight Derrick Lewis secured a promotional record after stopping Aleksei Oleinik at UFC Fight Night in the Apex Facility. ‘The Black Beast’ is the proud titleholder for the most knockout victories in UFC heavyweight history, with 11. He surpassed former divisional champions, Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos, and scaled the top of the mountain.

The record-making finish came early in the second round as Lewis dropped the Russian with a crisp right. The following ground strikes were enough for referee Herb Dean to call the headlining bout.
