UFC Vegas 34: Brian Kelleher vs Domingo Pilarte
‘Boom’ Kelleher has had a rather shaky 2020-21 as he’s not been able to remain consistent as of late. He’s coming off a unanimous decision loss to Ricky Simon and is 1-2 over the last calendar year. However, the 22-12 fighter is not short on experience and it won’t take him too long to bounce back to winning ways.

Brian Kelleher is as heavy-handed as they come at bantamweight and he can shut the lights out on anyone. The veteran 135-pounder is well adept when it comes to entering range and punishes opponents for a false move. Not to mention, he’s extremely durable and can absorb punishment just as well as he dishes it out.
Domingo Pilarte is 8-2 as a professional and he’s 1-1-1 so far under the promotional banner. He began his journey with the brand through Dana White’s Contender Series where he secured an RNC victory. Since then, he lost a split decision to Felipe Dias Colares back in July 2019 and had a NC to Journey Newson in at UFC 247.

‘Son of Fire’ Pilarte lacks experience and he’ll have to be wary of the various looks that Kelleher gives. Domingo Pilarte will be well advised to take the fight to the ground and look for a submission against Kelleher.
