Calvin Kattar has been fighting professional fights ever since he was a 19-year-old. Today, at the age of 32, he has an MMA record of 22-4-0. In his last five UFC fights, he has come out as a winner in four. He has lost only to Renato Moicano and Zabit Magomedsharipov in his four successful UFC years.

This UFC Fight Night 172 bout against Dan Ige wasn’t easy. They went to the lengths into the match and the win was finally awarded to Calvin with a unanimous decision of 49-46, 49-46, 48-47. The man had an injured nose from his fight against Jeremy Stephens on 10th May this year. It was a bloodbath even this time, resulting in some crazy Twitter reactions

It seems as if the entire world was watching these two men smashing their heads. Dan Ige was left with an injured yet brave face when he talked in the post-fight interview. He paid his respect to the opponent and seemed satisfied with the way he performed. It was a first-ever five-round UFC experience for both men.
