‘The Deathstar’ fell to the ground and was on all fours. However, the intense offensive volume going unanswered by Worthy promoted referee Herb Dean to put a stop to the fight at 93 seconds. This all-out brawl meant that Azaitar backed up his impressive UFC debut last year and put an exclamation point on his fledgling UFC career.

The fight ended a whopping 120 seconds earlier than his previous encounter and saw him maintain his unbeaten streak. Following his win, Twitter was abuzz with praise for the Moroccan fighter.

The undefeated fighter earned lavish praise from his peers in the UFC. Chiefly, praise came from fellow undefeated fighter and UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ liked what he witnessed and wrote, “That’s what I’m talking about my brother let’s gooooooo”

Another welterweight fighter, Alan Jouban, was in awe at the intensity displayed by Azaitar in ending the fight so quickly. He said, “Holy crap!!! That two piece was followed with the whole buffet!”

Dominant UFC bantamweight fighter Aljamain Sterling who knows a thing or two about quick finishes in the octagon said that the finish caught him by surprise. However, this would be a sentiment shared by a lot of fans and UFC fighters alike. ‘Funk Master’ wrote, “I did not expect that at all! What an explosive finish!”

UFC women’s featherweight championship challenger, Megan Anderson termed the flurry as wild. She described it as a performance containing “some crazy speed and power.” Next to her tweet, she put a pair of shocked emojis that conveyed her views regarding the match.

Welterweight fighter Niko Price spared a thought for the UFC’s decision-makers and Dana White, who received yet another top performance to consider for a bonus. The fight was the seventh finish of the night and second TKO result.

Former light heavyweight fighter Jimi Manuwa likened the fish to something he would do in his career and praise Ottman Azaitar. He tweeted, “That was vicious. My kinda finishing. Great job”
