The UFC main card broadcast paid tribute to George Floyd, who was a victim of police brutality. The UFC Vegas card also dedicated the night’s event to ringside physician Dr. Albert Capanna.
A white Minneapolis police office senselessly killed George Floyd early on the morning of the 25. A video surfaced of the police officer kneeling over Floyd’s neck for over 8 mins. Other police officers simply stood as aggravated bystanders begged them to release the man lying deceased on the pavement.
