UFC Lightweight Ottman Azaitar scored a spectacular first-round knockout over the perennially dangerous “Deathstar” Khama Worthy. The bout took place in the co-main slot at UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs Hill and lived up to the hype. The finish came just 01:33 seconds into the opening round and saw Azaitar earn his second straight first-round promotional finish.
“The Bulldozer” started off intensely and circled into Khama Worthy as soon as the fight was underway. What’s more, both fighters entered into the close range from the opening moments of the fight and landed heavy. Ottman Azaitar’s ferocity in close range coupled with his power punching led to the lighting quick finish.

UFC President Dana White congratulated “The Bulldozer” following arguably a “Performance of the Night” worthy showcase. The two exchanged a quick fist-bump following Ottman’s departure from the octagon. Additionally, the co-main event victor directed the camera to capture the brief exchange between White and himself via UFC on BT Sport.

UFC Lightweight’s: Ottman Azaitar vs Khama Worthy
Azaitar extended his undefeated record to 13-0 with a statement victory that put the division on notice. He burst onto the scene back at UFC 242 back in September 2019 in a card headlined by Khabib Nurmagomedov. The orthodox striker is known for his cerebral style that is enhanced by his famed durability in the cage.

Khama Worthy will have to access his moves going forward in the talent stacked lightweight division.
