UFC Heavyweight Alexandr Romanov secured a dominant win over Roque Martinez on the preliminary card for UFC Fight Night. The undefeated prospect cruised his way to an arm-triangle submission victory late into the second round of their scheduled contest. Moreover, the dominant win was followed by an emphatic post-fight celebration that he enjoyed with his coach and team, via ESPN MMA.

Martinez didn’t have much to offer Romanov once the fight hit the canvas, and he could not create separation. Alexandr Romanov found opportunities to unload heavy offense into the top mount position and also threw downward double fisted strikes at one point. Not to mention, Roque Martinez came in as the more experienced fighter, and fans expected a more competitive contest.
