UFC Vegas 29: Matt Brown vs Dhiego Lima
‘The Immortal’ is on a two-fight skid and was beaten by welterweight icon Carlos Condit in his last outing. Overall, Matt Brown hasn’t been able to remain consistent and has suffered several setbacks in recent years. Dhiego Lima is a good litmus test to see if Brown has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
Brown moves forward with a tight guard and has a varied arsenal of kicks and close-range boxing. He has dangerous elbows in the clinch and has been able to overpower several durable welterweights with his accuracy. Lima will have to be cautious when venturing into close range, as he’s susceptible to being countered.

He’ll be looking to cut against the cage and generate angles to make sure he doesn’t play into Brown’s range of offense. The fight is expected to stay on the feet and produce highlights right from the first bell.
