What lies ahead for Ciryl Gane?

Despite the timing of his run being quite off the mark, in more ways than one, Gane has now solidified his place at the top. Moreover, the French fighter has a diverse game that will pose a worthy challenge to any contender. Fans are now wondering what’s next for him, considering that he’s ostensibly next in time.

Stipe Miocic is the name that’s been making the rounds as Gane has now reached the very top of the division. Francis Ngannou already has his future assignments next, and it’s likely that his calendar will be swarmed for a while. Hence, facing Miocic will be the ultimate litmus test for Gane who will want to put his stamp on the fight.

Stipe Miocic: The heavyweight GOAT

Stylistically, both Gane and Miocic are measured strikers who lay out traps in particular phases. Not to mention, Miocic, who has faced an entire stable of top-tier UFC fighters, will be keen to bounce back from his loss to ‘The Predator’. Defeating a healthy version of Stipe Miocic will be nothing short of brilliant for Ciryl Gane.
