UFC lightweights Yancy Medeiros and Damir Hadzovic will open out the preliminary card for UFC Fight Night: Gane vs Volkov. The headlining scrap has captured the attention of fans who are looking to see who emerges as the next contender. Taking on Damir Hadzovic is a step-down in competition, but ‘The Bosnian Bomber’ is extremely underrated in the division. Yancy Medeiros has the tools to turn in a good performance, however, there’s are certain questions about his durability. Moreover, he’s not as defensively responsible while moving backward and he’s been caught by counters on many occasions.

Damir Hadzovic is on a two-fight skid and most recently was defeated by Renato Moicano in March 2020. Fans will be excited to see what a long-layoff can do in terms of helping him recover from the damage he absorbed. The 13-6 fighter has a wide arsenal of weapons and he’s faced several different types of fighters in his career.
