Cynthia Calvillo vs Andrea Lee- War of the Flyweights

Cynthia Calvillo has a decent professional fighting record of 9-3 under her name. She has two knockout wins and three submission wins under her belt. She was on a three-fight undefeated streak after her UFC debut. However, she is going through a downturn since then. Calvillo is 1-3 in her four previous bouts.

Meanwhile, Andrea Lee made her UFC debut in 2018 and went on winning three of her bouts. However, she lost all of her next three fights in the promotion.

Talking about the fight, ‘KGB’ has a two-inch height and five-inch reach advantage over Calvillo. Hence, the former will be able to land strikes from a distance. Also, ‘KGB’ lands an average of 5.48 strikes per minute, which is a concerning number for Calvillo.

However, Calvillo’s wrestling will play a role in this fight against Lee. Most of her UFC wins have come via a unanimous decision. She might do the same in this fight. Only if Calvillo retaliates against the precision strikes of ‘KGB’ and takes it to the distance, the odds might fall in her favor.
