It was an easy job for Khamzat Chimaev at UFC Fight Night 178 as he took out Gerald Meerschaert with a vicious knockout in the very first round. Following his back-to-back wins in July, Chimaev put a halt to his action in August. However, his return in September has been sensational with a massive win over a veteran ‘GM3’ Meerschaert. That said, the welterweight prodigy is once again on the top spot, with everyone talking about him.

Coming into the fight, Meerschaert had been confident about quelling on Chimaev’s hype. He also mocked ‘Borz’ on social media before the fight. However, UFC Vegas 11 brought something very different on the platter.
