Things got escalated really fast when Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman came face to face with each other at Super Bowl radio row.

During a media day for Sunday’s big game in Miami, the BMF, Jorge Masvidal came face to face with the welterweight champion and possibly his next opponent, Kamaru Usman. It seemed that the Gamebred was going to showcase another three-piece and a soda for the fans. But luckily, the situation was controlled by the officials.

Things Got Heated Between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal

Kamaru Usman was shouting “ Do Something. That’s all I hear you talking. Do something! You come up talking. Do something!”, urging Jorge Masvidal to make a move. He even made fun of Masvidal making gun gestures with hands. On the other hand, Jorge Masvidal decided not to get into a physical altercation with Usman. Masvidal said that he will take care of the matters if they fight. He warned Usman: “I am going to kill you.” He even said Usman that he was lucky that he was injured. Masvidal stated:

“You got a cast on, b*tch,” Masvidal said in return. “I ain’t going to take advantage of you like that. You got a cast on b*tch. You lucky. That’s the only reason nothing’s happening.”

Well, if fans were not interested in a title fight between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal they will look forward to it now. Jorge Masvidal has already made it clear that if Conor does not fight him then he is coming after the welterweight title. And yet there have been no confirmations whether Conor wants the BMF title fight with Masvidal. So it seems we have a title fight in our hands between Masvidal and Usman now. Even UFC president, Dana White has claimed that Usman is next for Masvidal.

It would be an intriguing fight. Even though Usman has a wrestling heavy approach he went into a striking war against Colby Covington. On the other hand, Jorge Masvidal has been baptizing his opponents ever since his UFC return. Though Masvidal is on a hot streak right now it’s not going to be easy for him to dethrone one of the best welterweight champions UFC has ever seen.
