The light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones defends his throne against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. The majority of the fans believe that the outcome of this fight is going to be in the favor of the champion and rightfully so.
Dominick Reyes is a tough contender. Even though he has not got the opportunity to showcase all the weapons he has in his arsenal, he has been able to secure victory over some notable opponents. In his last fight, he fought the former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman and got the job done in the first round.
However, Jon Jones has faced some of the very best that this sport had to offer and still came on top. And considering the level of opponent Jones has fought he should be able to overcome Reyes. But who is there in the light heavyweight division that can put an end to the dominance of Jones at 205.

And that’s where Israel Adesanya comes into the discussion. Adesanya dethroned Rober Whittaker at UFC 243 to become the undisputed middleweight champion. The Last Style bender has claimed that after beating all the worthy contenders at the middleweight division he would move up to 205 for a showdown with Jon Jones.
Adesanya is one of the best strikers in the UFC and he is good everywhere. Though he does not have wrestling and grappling pedigree he has done enough to win all his MMA fights so far. A fight between Jones and Adesanya will not only be a showcase of mixed martial arts at the highest level but also a financial success. However, Jones does not believe this fight is going to happen.

According to Jones, Israel Adesanya does not want to fight him. He admitted that the tweeter exchanges with Adesanya are fun. But he is far from believing that this fight is going to happen. In an interview with BT Sport, Jones said:
