American Mixed Martial Artist and a 2-time undisputed UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was known to be engaged to Jessie Moses, also from America.

While there haven’t been any official indications from the UFC kingpin about getting married, on social media or otherwise, Jones has been observed referring to Moses as his wife on multiple occasions.

Who is Jessie Moses & when did she meet Jon Jones?

Moses is a graduate of Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York. She is known to have met Jones during their school days. Both Jessie and Jones attended the Endicott High School in New York.

The duo started dating during their time together in school. Later, they attended different colleges but continued to see each other. This was around the same time that Moses was expecting her first child.

2008 saw the emergence of Jon Jones as an MMA phenom along with the birth of his first child. What’s more, by the time his daughter found her way into the world, Jones was already 4 fights stronger.

After dating for several years, Jones posted their engagement photos on social media. Jones gives credit to Moses for helping him in his career. The light heavyweight kingpin never had it easy, from working at a bar at the age of 19 to living out of the basement of Moses’ mother’s house, Jones found his way to success on the back of great adversity.

“I had these two brothers who were still in college and who were starting to be whispered about being NFL players, and there I was, back in my hometown, working at the local bar, a dropout with one baby and one more on the way, running into all the kids who were still in college.

“I felt like even my parents didn’t believe in me at that point. I felt like no one believed in me but Jessie and her mom. I had to prove them right. I had to,” said Jones in an interview.

Moses and Jones have 3 daughters together- Leah, Carmen, and Olivia Haven. Moses was pregnant with their first child when Jones began his MMA career. When they gave birth to Leah, he already had won 4 fights.

A year down the line, they gave welcomed their second daughter into the world. The couple named their second daughter, Carmen, after Jon’s sister, who died of brain cancer when she was young. In 2013, their third daughter Olivia Haven was born.

“With the girls being such a young age, not seeing them for even two weeks, I miss out on a lot,” Jones said as per MMA Hot Stuff. They change so much in that short amount of time. We Skype every day. I make funny videos for them to see daddy.”

Being a top athlete, Jones is often forced to spend a lot of time away from his family. He once told the media how much he missed his children while he was away.

Fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, while his family goes on with life in Ithaca, New York cannot be easy; but trust one of the greatest fighters in the MMA circuit to pull it off.
