Though Khabib is arguably the greatest and most respected fighter to walk the octagon in today’s time, there is still one hurdle left for him to cross. Tony Ferguson, ‘The Boogeyman’.

Tony Ferguson is currently #1 in the UFC Lightweight rankings, thus turning out to be the only one standing between a Conor vs. Khabib rematch. He also holds the record for the most consecutive wins. Arguably one of the greatest UFC Lightweight fighters ever, Tony is one person who no one takes lightly.

This fight is possibly the greatest threat to his career that Khabib will ever face. Will he prevail as he always has, or will Conor McGregor face Tony Ferguson next?

“Khabib Nurmagomedov Needs to Work on His Strikes”: Fedor Emelianenko

In an interview, The Last Emperor commented on Khabib Nurmagomedov. While he was all praises for The Eagle, he did add that Khabib needs to polish his skills.

He said, “Khabib has found his style and wins by using his strengths. That’s good because he is a UFC champion and uses his strengths. In these elements, he stands above his rivals. However, Khabib must, of course, patch the gaps in his technique. For example, in the technique of punches and kicks. But he also does everything right. He also has time to polish these techniques to become even better.”

Himself a legend in the world of MMA, Fedor’s review just might come in handy for Khabib. After all, this is the biggest fight Khabib has ever had. The advice given to him by fellow Russian fighter might provide him the edge over Ferguson.
