UFC Legend Randy Couture Admitted in ICU after Suffering from Heart Attack

UFC Legend Randy Couture was admitted in ICU on Wednesday after suffering from heart attack.

TMZ reported that the 56-year-old walked himself to the hospital after feeling something was off after a workout at the Unbreakable MMA gym in L.A. He was admitted and treated immediately. It was also reported that Couture has been recovering well and can be expected to make a full recovery.

Couture’s girlfriend Mindy Robson also confirmed the three time UFC Champions good recovery.

Couture is a well respected figure in the MMA community. He has, after all, competed in a record 16 title fights. He holds the record for the most wins in UFC Heavyweight Championship bouts (6). He also has the most title reigns in the UFC (6) and is the fourth member of the UFC Hall of Fame.

Many people took to twitter to wish a speedy recovery to the UFC fighter.

 


Among those wishing him a speedy recovery were another UFC legend Frank Mir and Conor McGregor.
