The American billionaire businessman Elon Musk recently bought one of the biggest social media platforms. Musk acquired Twitter for a reported $44 billion. The world’s richest man plans to use it as a platform for free speech and former UFC fighter Jake Shields couldn’t be happier.

Jake Shields took to his Twitter account to share his happiness for the new owner’s ideologies of free speech. He slammed the Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal in his recent tweet. Shields wrote,” hey @paraga congrats on being fired as CEO of Twitter Your anti-free speech agenda won’t be missed.”

Shields’ tweet suggests that the Indian CEO has already been fired from his position after the Elon Musk takeover. The former UFC fighter also had another request for the billionaire.

He wrote on Twitter, “Hey @elonmusk can you buy Instagram next so I will stop getting covid-19 warning attached to pictures I post.”

Shields is a former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion and also a UFC Welterweight Championship challenger. The fighter holds a professional record of 33 wins and 11 losses.

The fighter seemed thrilled about the fact that the Tesla owner acquired Twitter. He has tweeted a lot on the same and also spoke about the current operators of the social media platform.

The fighter wrote,” Never in history has there been a faster and more efficient way to share information then (than) Twitter. This is why the elites are freaking out at the possibility of losing that control to Elon Musk.”

Jake Shields on the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial

Shields has spoken up a lot on the notion of free speech via Twitter. He was also mad at the media for promoting Johnny Depp’s and Amber Heard’s trial over other important issues that are going on in the world right now. The fighter said he was ‘least interested’ in the trial.
