Max Holloway sends a pair of gloves to ‘The Korean Zombie’

Chan Sung Jung, better known as ‘The Korean Zombie,’ recently wrapped up his UFC career. He did not win the fight, suffering a knockout defeat to Max Holloway. Thereafter, Jung placed his gloves in the cage as a part of his retirement ceremony. When he tried to carry his gloves backstage, a fan took one glove, prompting him to throw the other into the crowd.

‘The Korean Zombie’ later, in a YouTube video, mentioned that he missed having the gloves from his retirement fight in his possession. However, he got a surprise. Max Holloway went out of his way to send his own gloves to the Korean MMA legend. Chan Sung Jung was so touched by this gesture that he reciprocated by donating $20,000 to the Maui Food Bank. He even reached out to the people in his native country and urged them to show their support to the victims in Hawaii.
