“I Am a Pay-Per-View Person” Paige VanZant Reacts to Her Pro Wrestling Debut at AEW Double or Nothing

When it comes to combat sports, one of the most heard names is the name of Paige VanZant. In her career, VanZant has built quite a fan base. Along with building a fan base, VanZant has also proven to be a woman of many talents. Starting her career in MMA, she moved to bare knuckle boxing and now has also made her pro wrestling debut in AEW Double or Nothing. VanZant in an interview shed light on the latter.
Speaking of her pro wrestling debut at AEW Double or Nothing, VanZant said, “I am feeling great. I went out there, we got the win, I feel like I put on a impressive performance. I showed everybody, meant to be a pro wrestler too.”

VanZant also gave an update about her next move when asked how she could pave her way to so many paths. She said, “It feels amazing. You know, everybody keeps asking me when I am gonna pick a lane. I don’t have to. I am going to be good at absolutely everything I do and I got my new bare knuckle boxing match coming up in London on July 16th.”
On being asked about how she does it all, she said, “I got a good team. I got people in my corner , I pay them to do the job, I don’t wanna do it so I can just focus on training.”
When asked on how she felt about making her debut at the T-Mobile Arena, VanZant said, “I knew that this was the only place I wanted to make my AEW debut. It had to be big, and it had to be on Pay-Per-View. I am a Pay-Per-View person and they got to pay me the Pay-Per-View dollars to show up.”

Well, it seems as if Paige VanZant is doing well for herself. It is good to see VanZant in high spirits considering comments made by her former boss had disappointed VanZant.

Being the President of the UFC is a tough job and White can definitely not keep everyone happy. In a similar instance, White had seemed to disappoint Paige VanZant. Initially ahead of her fight at UFC 251, VanZant was fighting the last fight on her contract and said she will test free agency after it.

VanZant lost her fight to Amanda Ribas. After her fight, White said that VanZant had got smoked in her last fight and that she should definitely test free agency. These comments by White disappointed VanZant.
Reacting to this, VanZant said that she did not see the quote or heard what White had said. She also added that she felt it was disappointing. She felt she shared a very good relationship with Dana White.
VanZant said that she felt she and Dana were close friends and the latter could call her or text her. She added, “Something to have a little bit of compassion, something to communicate with me personally, but maybe he will.” She also added that if Dana White felt she should test free agency, then she would be okay doing so and the promotion should let her go.
