“Sorry Your Dana’s Slave” – Diego Sanchez Makes Bizarre Nick Diaz Callout After Tommy Fury Defeats Jake Paul

The aftermath of the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight has been the talk of the town, especially among the MMA community. And the UFC Hall of Famer Diego Sanchez was not exempted from sharing his opinion on the fight. Although most fans were congratulating Fury for his victory, Sanchez’s post on social media was quite different. His post threw shade on Fury’s victory and was quite layered in its context. In addition to that, he also managed to take a jab at his former opponent and retired UFC fighter, Nick Diaz, whom he referred to as “Dana’s slave”.

Sanchez’s post covered a lot of ground, touching on issues such as the UFC and its contracts, among others. Sanchez’s post seems to have covered underlying issues that fans are worried about. The concerning reactions from fans over his Instagram post have made it apparent that Sanchez’s mental state is now under scrutiny.

Fans are worried about the MMA veteran

‘Nightmare’ Diego Sanchez, in his recent Instagram post, used a picture posted by Nick Diaz to congratulate Tommy Fury on his victory over Jake Paul. However, the former UFC legend had a different message for ‘TNT.’ He congratulated him on a “fake” win and went on a rant about Nick Diaz and the UFC at large.

Sanchez did not hold back as he criticized UFC’s contracts and even went as far as to mention that the BKFC is superior to the UFC. This rant caused confusion and concern among fans as they were unable to follow what the MMA veteran was up to. Hence, a flurry of reactions came through.

One fan said, “Diego, I love you man.. but are you good?”

“If you love God, you need to log off your phone and really go seek the truth,” said another.

While one user said, “dude you are not well, no insult or hate involved but you should get help & not take anymore head shots”

“For years you was my favourite fighter but at this point concerned about your well being @diegonightmaresanchezufc,” commented another.

Despite this, it is worth noting that Diego Sanchez had previously expressed his desire to fight Nick Diaz before his BKFC debut. So much so, that he mentioned this fight to be his “real BKFC fight”.

Sanchez’s daring call-out

Diego Sanchez’s hunger for big fights was evident in his pre-fight interview before his BKFC debut against Austin Trout. He expressed his desire to fight the biggest names in the sport which included the older Diaz brother. However, he also acknowledged that the fight might not happen due to Nick Diaz still potentially being under a UFC contract. Diego Sanchez said, “I was asking for the Nick Diaz fight.”

He further added, “That’s the real bare-knuckle fight I want, is Nick Diaz. I’m pretty sure he’s under his contract with the UFC for probably the rest of his life, so it will probably never happen. But let me throw that out there to the fans and let the fans know that Diego Sanchez ain’t afraid.”

Nevertheless, he went on to fight Austin Trout and unfortunately lost the bout. After the fight, Diego Sanchez claimed that the former WBA champion cheated his way to victory.
