Former UFC fighters Hector Lombard and Tyron Woodley nearly got into a slugfest while attending an event during the weekend. It was clear from the beginning that the interaction was contentious, and Lombard later provided some context on social media. Hector Lombard who recently got into an altercation after his last fight at BKFC is no stranger to out-of-competition tussles.

Lombard appears agitated right from the get-go as he animatedly pointed right in Woodley’s face. ‘The Chosen One’ seems relatively calmer during the exchange and seems to agree with Lombard’s narration of events. Chiefly the two are separated when BKFC President David Feldman stepped in between them.

Chiefly, Lombard put up a detailed Instagram post wherein he claimed that Tyron Woodley tried to get with a woman he was seeing at the time. Upon going through Hector Lombard’s lengthy post, it seems to check out the audio heard during the video. Tyron Woodley hasn’t commented on the situation but Lombard seems fired up to pick a fight.

Tyron Woodley vs Hector Lombard: Two UFC vets collide?

While both men are on very different trajectories, Woodley vs Lombard would definitely be a fight that fans would be excited about. ‘The Chosen One’ is set to take on Jake Paul next month in his highly anticipated boxing debut. He left the UFC earlier this year off a four-fight skid after being submitted by Vicente Luque.

Hector Lombard is currently on a three-fight win streak with his last three wins coming under the BKFC banner. Not to mention, he’s also competed in Quintet Ultra in a grappling showcase against UFC rising star, Sean O’Malley. Hector Lombard left the UFC on a massive skid but he seems to have found a home with BKFC.

Given that both men are making waves outside the sphere of MMA, it would be fitting for them to box in a bare-knuckle bout. Hector Lombard has clearly taken a liking to the sport and Woodley is open to exploring his options. A lot will depend on how he looks in his boxing debut against Jake Paul.
