Despite losing the fight, he gave Mayweather one of the hardest challenges.

Many people believed that the Filipino had done enough to get the win. It appears he might have a chance to avenge that loss. The Filipino had announced that he would be putting on the boxing gloves again to Fight Floyd Mayweather in 2024. But the fight against Floyd Mayweather isn’t the only fight that ‘Pacman’ is training for.

Manny Pacquiao announces rematch against Mayweather and other fights

Manny Pacquiao during the New Year’s event at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan, officially announced his fight against Floyd Mayweather. Given that his fight against Mayweather was the highest-selling PPV fight of all time, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see just as many people tune in to watch the exhibition match.

However, Pacquiao aims to fight against more people and not just against Mayweather. In a recent announcement by a reputed sports journalist, Michael Benson, he claimed that the boxing legend would be eyeing to fight against some of the biggest names In boxing and combat sports.

At the Age of 45, Manny Pacquiao would look to fight against the likes of Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia, and even former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor claiming that it would be a sensational event in Saudi Arabia, stating “His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, loves big events, and he’s putting on the best events. It’s a very intriguing and fun fight bringing two of the biggest names together in combat sports.”

The fight announcement came as a surprise for most of the fans, which prompted a wide array of reactions.

Another was critical of the champion as he wrote;
