

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather took place 5 years ago, and it was a one-of-a-kind mega event. Prior to this massive super fight, there had been no fight of this magnitude between fighters from different sports.
The outcome of the event may have been predictable, but McGregor’s resilience earned the praise of the boxing community.

Once in a recent interview with, REVOLT, Mayweather shed light on his boxing routine and how he did not up the ante. He stated that he actually wanted to put on a show and hence, he pushed the fight to the later rounds. He also stated that his motive was to book yet another bout with the MMA star and it compelled him to elongate the fight. If he wanted, he could have easily ended the fight in the opening rounds, but that would kill all possibilities of a rematch.

He said.,” You have to give the people a show, so I gave the people the show. I mean if I wanted to go out there f**k him up and blaze him, right out of the gate, I could have did that. So you know my thing is then there wouldn’t probably be a part 2.”
Floyd Mayweather also made bold claims,’ You didn’t see me training.’

He said,
” Go back and look at all access mmmm, you didn’t see me training. I mean, I was doing a little bit, I was going to the gym like two or three times and then I didn’t go to the gym like four days You know what I am saying, I was in shape, I mean I wasn’t probably in shape like the Arturo Gatti fight.
