UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping is one of the greatest names in the sport. Having competed in both light heavyweight and middleweight divisions, the English fighter has rubbed shoulders with some of the greats. Now, a popular commentator and sports analyst, Bisping really knows what he is talking about when it comes to combat.
In his recent video on YouTube, Bisping reacted to the Fury-Rogan-Jones entanglement and the back-and-forth that has been happening. Joe Rogan went on to claim that Jones would get the better of Fury if they were pitted in a room. Bisping weighed in with his opinion on this matter.

Bisping’s opinion: Fury vs. Jones
One cannot deny the astute analyst in Bisping. Having competed in the sport and dominated it at a point, his opinion carries weight. On his YouTube video, Bisping said, “You know Rogan’s got a big, big platform – he’s got the biggest podcast on planet earth. But Joe’s a UFC guy and Joe’s spitting facts,” backing up the UFC commentator.
Speaking highly of Tyson Fury, Bisping said, “I’m a massive fan of Tyson Fury, undefeated boxer – the journey that he’s been on,” and spoke about the incredible comeback The Gypsy King made and how he decked opponents to lay claim to the Heavyweight championship title in boxing.
However, later in the video, Bisping made it clear that he sided with Rogan on this matter. “But the reality is boxing is a limited skillset. It just is. It’s one variant of Mixed Martial arts.” With a short dive into the history of MMA, Bisping elaborated on his point and went on to say, “Boxing is one element of that [MMA].”

He wrapped it all up by saying that in a boxing ring, he would put his top dollar on Tyson Fury. However, in a cage it’s different, indicating that he was leaning towards Jon Jones walking away with a win over Fury.

What went down? Rogan to Fury to Jones
In his podcast, Joe Rogan picked Jon Jones as the winner in a hypothetical match between Tyson Fury and Jones. However, this didn’t sit right with the Gypsy King who responded to Rogan calling him a bunch of names. To this, Jones replied with a tweet of his own, setting the stage for some exciting trash-talking. Another possibility is that this opened the doors for yet another dream match between two of the biggest names in combat.
