Conor McGregor has not only invaded the fanbase of mixed martial arts but also professional boxing. He was involved in a crossover event with Floyd Mayweather, back in 2017. Although the former UFC double champion lost the fight against ‘Money’, he never failed to diss the professional boxer. Amidst the threats sent to Mayweather by the New York crime boss’ grandson, McGregor decided to take a jab at the boxer.

Recently, ‘Mystic Mac’ has been in a heated exchange of words with Canelo Alvarez on the internet. However, ‘The Notorious’ also decided to take a few jabs at his former opponent. A fan shared a video of Mayweather doing pad-work after saying that he worked when his opponents were sleeping. As the video caught the Irishman’s attention, he took to Twitter and showed off his yacht. Furthermore, he claimed that he connected more fists with Mayweather than anyone ever had.

In a now-deleted tweet aimed at Mayweather’s training video, ‘The Notorious’ replied and seemingly reminded Mayweather of the threat he brought in 2017. The mixed martial artist wrote, “I’m on the yachts partying lad , I smacked you more smacks than anyone had.” Without a doubt, McGregor never spares a single chance to get back at his former opponents.
