With fans having a mixed reaction to Paul facing another former UFC fighter, the Youtuber hasn’t had much support from the combat sports community. This time his former opponent, Anderson Silva has given his take on the next challenge laid in front of Jake Paul.

Anderson Silva gives his honest take on the Jake Paul versus Nate Diaz fight

The UFC legend recently gave his opinion on his former opponent Jake Paul’s next fight against Nate Diaz. ‘Spider’ explained to the reporter in his gym what he thinks of the fight between the two stars.

Anderson Silva said, “Wow! I’m so excited. You know that’s the good show for us…” Furthermore, on discussing who will win, “I don’t know it’s very tough you know. It’s very tough because everybody thinks Jake is not training boxing you know. But Jake’s training a lot you know, and then the people need to respect everything Jake’s doing because he’s very professional.”

Having faced him inside the boxing ring, Silva added, “He’s very focusing in your job and I respect him a lot. Maybe who’s to win the fight, the fight too you know… Let’s go see.”

Additionally, Silva also answered what Nate Diaz needs to do to get a win. The former UFC middleweight champion answered, “Well that’s very hard. Yeah, it’s very hard to say who’s winning. He’s opposed he’s a good fighter you know. He’s a very good fighter.” Nevertheless, the Brazilian offered his reasoning as to why he thinks one fighter is the favorite heading into the fight.

Silva thinks Nate Diaz might be the favorite because of one factor

The former UFC middleweight champion added that Diaz has an advantage over Paul due to his experience. ‘Spider’ also reaffirmed the same in the later stages of his conversation.

Silva added, “Nate have more experience you know have a good boxing, good cardio, and I respect both. And I’m waiting for the best show for us…”

Furthermore, ‘Spider’ had some words for Paul’s coaches, “Jake have a good coach you know. He’s a very smart in the make the short distance you know, inside. I believe in that’s very interesting fight… The fight is not about power. It’s about timing, you know and both have good timing.”
