UFC light heavyweight contender, Anthony Smith has been engaging in the profession of being a part of an MMA expert when he is not in the octagon. The fighter has appeared on several podcasts and has also served as an analyst for ESPN MMA.

Recently, ‘Lionheart’ appeared on a podcast with the former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. On the podcast,’ Believe You Me Episode 380′, Smith and Bisping discussed the topic of Jake Paul taking on UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov in an MMA fight.

The internet celebrity turned boxer has been pushing to land an MMA fight with the retired lightweight fighter. Paul claimed that if he works on his wrestling ability, he will be able to take Khabib out in a fight.

Anthony Smith said, “It drives me nuts. That is the most ignorant thing I’ve heard in my whole life. Like, Justin Gaethje is Division 1 all America. and he (Khabib) had just no problem. Khabib has no problem with getting Gaethje down and just controlling him on the ground. Like no issue at all.

“Jake Paul doesn’t have enough to one on this earth left to bridge the gap between him and Khabib wrestling. I have a hard time believing that one person can be that stupid,” he added.

Jake Paul has never taken part in a professional mixed martial arts bout. He has a current professional boxing record of 4 wins and no losses. Khabib Nurmagomedov is undefeated in his MMA career

The last time we saw Anthony Smith inside the octagon was at UFC Vegas 37. The light heavyweight fighter is currently on a three-fight winning streak. He has won all three of his last fights via finishes. After is bout UFC Vegas 37, Smith called out Aleksandar Rakic. He stated he wanted to fight someone who is above his rank.
