The use of performance-enhancing drugs is rampant in the world of combat sports. UFC has seen many fighters test positive during drug tests over the years. There are numerous fighters who want to gain the upper hand in their bout with the use of PEDs. MMA veteran Nick Diaz shared a resurfaced video of boxing legend Mike Tyson talking about the use of PEDs in a podcast.

Nick Diaz may not have tested positive for steroids, but he has failed several drug tests during his UFC career for plant-based drugs. The 39-year-old fighter even faced a  5-year ban in 2015. He tested positive for marijuana metabolites and failed the drug test after his UFC 183 fight with Anderson Silva, who also failed the drug test. The Nevada State Athletic Commission then reduced Diaz‘s 5-year ban to 18 months.

Nick Diaz shared a post on his Instagram story where Mike Tyson talked about drug use. The boxing legend had an upbringing that saw him indulge in various types of narcotics, including cocaine and alcohol. But even Mike Tyson never tested positive for PEDs, even though UFC critic Chael Sonnen once claimed that he did use steroids.
