In 2017, McGregor also boxed against an undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather. It was one of the biggest crossovers in the history of MMA and boxing. However, Nurmagomedov took digs at both McGregor and Mayweather.

Michael Benson, an editor at ‘Talk Sport’, recently shared Nurmagomedov’s clip calling out the boxer. He said, “50-0 versus 27-0. Two guys never, never like lose. Let’s go, why not? In the video, ‘The Eagle‘ was with Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of ‘Mayweather Promotions’.

Besides that, it would have been interesting to watch Nurmagomedov in a boxing match. After all, his strength is his wrestling and ground game. Watching the Dagestani box would have been a novel experience.
