Francis Ngannou’s fans are super excited as they await his title defense against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270. Fans expect it to be a blockbuster fight considering how good both the fighters are. However, prior to his fight against heavyweight interim champion Gane, Francis Ngannou has been called out by Tyson Fury.
It is no secret that Ngannou has been considering the sport of boxing as well. His disputes with UFC are well-known. Thus, in the wake of Ngannou’s title fight and issues with the promotion, Tyson Fury calling out Ngannou for a fight is extremely exciting for UFC as well as boxing fans.
Fury wrote on Twitter, “Who would like to see me fight this beast boxing rules @ufc gloves?” He also tagged UFC President Dana White and Ngannou.

Fury has also been seen training with MMA fighters. Back in 2019, he had joked about training with Conor McGregor. Tyson Fury is absolutely fine entering the octagon with smaller gloves. But it is also clear that getting on the floor and grappling is not his cup of tea. Hence, seeing him in MMA does not seem realistic. However, because of Ngannou’s interest in boxing, there is a possibility of seeing both throwing strikes at each other.
