‘Triple C,’ a former double division champion of the UFC, has stated that he’s entered the USADA pool. This suggested that he’s likely making a return to the UFC octagon, given all the business variables check out. Moreover, the former champ is currently working on getting back into fighter shape and refining his skills to avoid a ‘Ring Rust.’
Recently, ‘Triple C’ posted a video of his boxing pad work under the tutelage of boxing legend Mike Tyson on Twitter, which garnered mixed reactions, with a majority of them criticizing him. This was because ‘Triple C’ called out Conor McGregor’s boxing skills ahead of his potential return to the octagon. In the eyes of fans and others, Cejudo seems to be ‘worse’ than McGregor.

“Talk sh** about Conor’s boxing.” Right off the bat, the criticisms poured in. Another fan was more brutal.

Can Triple C dethrone Alexander ‘The Great’ Volkanovski?
As much as people would like to look down on Cejudo for a multitude of reasons, his imprint on the UFC remains. Moreover, his legacy as a double champ exists, and not all fighters are able to accomplish that. That being said, it won’t be surprising if a fight between Cejudo and Volkanovski takes place.

Cejudo is an Olympic freestyle wrestling medalist, which could prove to be a problem for Volkanovski. The Aussie takes the fight when it comes to power and durability, but Cejudo has a lot of experience in the fight game. It’s still too early to make assumptions because Cejudo has been away from the octagon for a while now.
