Despite being 47 years old, Anderson Silva was in good form heading into the fight. He had previously fought and beaten Tito Ortiz and Hugo Chavez Jr. Therefore, many people, including Dana White, considered Silva a real challenge for Paul. However, Paul came through on his words and has set his sights on the UFC president again.

Jake Paul had an eventful evening inside and outside the ring. His team allegedly had an altercation with Nate Diaz‘s team prior to the fight. He secured his biggest win hours later against Anderson Silva. With one fight done and another one potentially taking shape, Paul turned his attention to, Dana White.

Prior to the fight, Paul had claimed White of trying to sabotage the event. He reiterated his statements post-fight as well. “Dana, bro, you said I wouldn’t do this. And I did it. With flying colors. But you know, he’s in hiding. He’s trying to do everything he can to stop my run, to sabotage my fights.”

Dana White, however, stated before that he had no interest in Jake Paul or his fight against Anderson Silva. “I literally was saying the other day, everybody keeps asking me about Jake. This guy’s not even in my sport. I don’t care,” a frustrated White said.

White had also previously stated that Paul would not call out someone like Anderson Silva. The YouTuber turned boxer proved White wrong on several accounts and had the last laugh last night.

Prior to the match, Jake Paul and Anderson Silva made a bet. If Silva lost, he would join Jake Paul in creating a ‘United Fighter’s Association.’ Now that Paul beat Silva, he said he plans to go ahead with his plan.

During the press conference, Paul elaborated, “Now, you know, we’re gonna band together, we’re gonna create a united fighters association to help UFC fighters, all MMA fighters, and boxers to get more fighter pay, long-term health care. And that’s a big, big undertaking that I’ve been wanting to do for the whole entire time.”
