Dana White Expects Nate Diaz to Honor UFC Contract as He Gives Verdict on Jake Paul Fight

UFC star Nate Diaz wants to move ahead. Hence, he has been asking for the last fight so that he can complete his contract or be released. He even shared a video of Jake Paul knocking out Tyron Woodley and insinuated a boxing match with Paul. UFC President Dana White even responded to it in an interview.

Interestingly, while speaking about Diaz boxing Jake Paul, White said, “That’s a fight that makes sense.”

In a new conversation on ‘The Jim Rome Show’, the promoter once again spoke about Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul. Responding to that, the UFC President said, “He’s got one more fight with us. And then, he can go do whatever he wants to do.”

When asked about how a potential fight between Diaz and Paul would go, White replied, “I have no idea. I could care less.”

Dana White expects the younger Diaz brother to finish his contract with the UFC. He said, “Absolutely. … these guys always go round and round but two things, the Diaz brothers they’ve always honored the contracts, they always show up, you know.”

Thus, while the Stockton fighter is asking for the promotion to release him, the promoter expects Diaz to complete the contract and then fight Paul. It would be interesting to see what Nate Diaz has to say after White’s recent comments.

Many, including Dana White, had been talking about Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev clashing. However, as per Diaz, ‘Borz’ Chimaev had been ducking the matchup.

The MMA fighter wants to fight again in July or August. However, there is no opponent yet. After a long run in the UFC, fans would be pumped up to see him fight for the promotion one last time. Hence, Diaz’s last fight would be huge.
