The boxing fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has left quite a lot of fight fans conflicted. Though excited to see the Boxing legend make his return to the sport, the fact that he will be up against a young achiever, who seems to have luck by his side, fighting and beating old fighters, has left the fans worried about the possibility of “Iron Mike” on the mat.

Most people are visibly confused as to why Mike Tyson would take up the fight with Jake Paul and take a risk of harming his legacy. The UFC CEO and friend of the boxing phenom, Dana White, might have a clear idea as to Why Iron Mike took such a big risk in the first place.

Dana White, during a recent podcast appearance, weighed in on his thoughts on the boxing match set between “The Problem Child” and “Iron Mike”. When asked why Mike Tyson still fights, White stated, “Mike Tyson has made a lot of money outside of fighting. I mean, Tyson still has that aura. You can be at a restaurant and he walks in and you’re like, holy f**k Mike Tyson’s here, you know, he still has that type of aura and energy in a room. And he makes lots of money outside of the ring. I just, I think that he ends up getting these offers that he can’t refuse.”

Given that the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will take place on a streaming juggernaut, Netflix, it can be assumed that both fighters will be compensated quite handsomely. However, given the history between the younger Paul brother and the UFC CEO, the 54-year-old didn’t miss the chance to take a dig at Jake Paul.
