Diaz criticizes team Jake Paul; lauds Dana White’s UFC

Diaz, a seasoned fighter of the UFC, drew a stark distinction between his experiences in the UFC and the current event. He showered praise on UFC president Dana White, emphasizing the professionalism Diaz had come to expect. Diaz also reflected on a recent incident involving an individual identified as Derek from ‘Betr Media,’ an employee of Jake Paul. Derek had made disrespectful comments towards Diaz and his brother Nick during a press conference.

Derek had initially feigned an apology quite publicly after his press-conference fiasco. However, Diaz remarked on the incident, “If somebody at the press conference, some little s**t was at the press conference yelling at Jon Jones and whoever he’s fighting or any of the main events, and that’s some stupid s**t, Dana White would tell em get the f**k out of here, who the f**k is this guy. He wouldn’t’ve even got a pass”.

“Old School Diaz criticizes “New Wave” promotions

Continuing to voice his displeasure, Diaz also didn’t hold back about Jake Paul and the event promoters. He stated, “That’s just f***ing lame s**t to have people thinking that’s the way you know“, referring to the disrespectful conduct that was allowed by the promotion. The harsh criticism didn’t stop at Paul but extended to the entire promotional setup surrounding the upcoming fight. Diaz continued, “I was not just mad at him(Jake Paul) and them(Team Jake Paul); it’s the whole amateur promotion. These guys don’t know how to do it, and they’re making it the new wave of how to do things”.
