The world was divided when the boxing bout between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul was announced. Diaz, who had been an MMA fighter most of his life, would have to check himself in accordance with the rules of boxing. Also, he is 38 years old. Jake Paul, who has been forged within the rules of boxing, is only 26 years of age.

Although anything could have happened, Jake Paul managed to win his fight against Diaz – not by a knockout, but by decision. Diaz, known for his incredible cardio, went the 10-round distance. A lot of people thought he won and among them was UFC Legend Rampage Jackson. In a recent podcast, he talked about why he thought the former UFC fighter had won the bout and also introduced an interesting twist in the game.

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson lived up to his name when he was at his peak in the UFC. He still is one of the greatest Light Heavyweight fighters to have stepped foot in the ring. At a point, Jackson was on a roll and seemed unstoppable before UFC HW champ Jon Jones came and humbled him. Although a feared man in the UFC, it seems he has a lot of respect for Nate Diaz.

In one of the latest YouTube podcast videos on the Jaxxon Podcast channel, the former Light Heavyweight fighter was seen in conversation with another UFC legend, BJ Penn. During that episode, one person asked Jackson what he thought of the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz fight.

Right after the fight was over, Jake Paul and his team reached out to Nate Diaz and his people, offering the former UFC fighter a $10 million contract for a second fight. However, this time, it would be an MMA fight – not a boxing bout. This would give a fair chance to both fighters. However, there was a catch.

According to the terms and conditions, the fight would be under the banner of PFL – the same promotion that Jake Paul is signed to. Diaz didn’t seem entirely on board with this and said that he was looking to make his return to the UFC with this fight. He also said that he would accept the fight, provided his own promotion, Real Fight, Inc. would co-promote the event.
