“An exceptional troll,” is what Chael Sonnen called Floyd Mayweather. The boxer, who is nicknamed ‘Money’, is back to his old ways and flexing his wealth. As per reports, he spent $15 million on shopping for Christmas and had rented out a mall for it. But former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen rubbished these claims.

‘Boxing Kingdom’ posted, “Floyd Mayweather hires out a shopping centre at midnight and spends $15M on Xmas gifts.” Along with this caption, a short video of Mayweather was posted. He was seen taking out wads of cash from his duffle bag.

‘The American Gangster’ took the opportunity to share his opinion on this and wrote, “This is great. Floyd is whispering into the camera, so he doesn’t alert workers and fellow shoppers around him as he pretends he rented the mall out. Truly, an exceptional troll.”

Would a mall really close down to accommodate just Mayweather, despite it being the holiday season? Well, that’s what the boxer claimed when he said, “When you are VVVV VIP, you shop how you want to shop.” Knowing the boxer, it sounds like something he would do.

Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time Floyd Mayweather flexed his wealth. This also isn’t the first time Chael Sonnen took digs at the boxer. The Philly Shell practitioner previously claimed on multiple occasions that he has received $100 million from a fight, which Sonnen brushed aside as ludicrous claims.

Chael Sonnen doubts Floyd Mayweather’s $100 million claims as well

During his recent appearance on the ‘Flagrant’ podcast, ‘The American Gangster’ called out Mayweather for claiming he made $100 million or more from a fight. “First off, he never got $1oo million for a fight and is not even remotely close. But there is a report of 130, there are reports online that Floyd’s a billionaire. Bullsh**,” Sonnen told host Andrew Schulz.

On being asked the reasoning behind this claim, Sonnen pointed out that these were not verifiable numbers that were open to the public. He felt the public had to take Mayweather and his team at their word to believe this number and he thought Mayweather was exaggerating.
