Floyd Mayweather Mocks Conor McGregor’s Leg Injury: ‘Ya’ll Got It Twisted’

Floyd Mayweather has shown almost no love for his former rival Conor McGregor, who recently suffered his second consecutive loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. However, the loss was quite unfortunate, as McGregor seemed steady until he contracted the ankle twist. The sudden injury curbed him and urged the referee to call off the fight.

However, the fight’s aftermath brought further criticisms for ‘Notorious’. While several celebrities like Jake Paul had already mocked the Irishman, Mayweather also dived in to ridicule his ex-opponent. The 44-year-old posted a photoshopped image of Conor McGregor with a twisted ankle to grab attention.

In the caption, Floyd Mayweather wrote, “Y’all got it twisted! I like how his shoes fit. Now, do the stanky leg.” 

Meanwhile, McGregor has appeared unbothered about all the critics. He has claimed to battle Dustin Poirier for the fourth time, and UFC chief Dana White hasn’t ruled off the chances. Besides, the former UFC champion has also overcome a successful surgery and can look forward to returning soon. But that wouldn’t set him free of humiliation.

Starting from Paul, Mayweather to Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor already has several A-listed critics on his opposite side. That said, many of them had favored Poirier to win, even before the bout had begun. 50-0 as a pro boxer, Floyd Mayweather was one of them.
