Currently, ‘Platinum’ competes under BKFC and has two wins, including one over Bellator’s Michael Venom Page. Now, the 31-year-old is looking to enter the squared circle for a dance with ‘The Problem Child’.

Perry’s tweets confirm that negotiations had indeed taken place. However, it remains unclear why the negotiations did not proceed further from Paul’s side.

31-year-old Perry is a far cry from the aging MMA icons that Paul has beaten so far. Despite Paul scoring an impressive win over Anderson Silva, he still received backlash citing Silva’s age.

Considering Paul’s recent claims, Mike Perry could be a potential opponent in the future. Perry is currently on a three-fight win streak and is game for a fight against Paul.
